Girls need to feel a part of history


Teachers play an instrumental role in making all students feel included in the course. This course will give educators the tools to empower all students to engage in the curriculum and discussions. Teaching practices that encourage just the confident extroverts to engage, reinforce the cycle of girls not feeling they have a place in the history classroom as those outspoken students are often boys. Boys speak up even when they are not called on. Let's learn how to change that.
